Helpline Role:

Thank you for expressing your interest to volunteer at ARCVic. We have just completed our mid-year recruitment of volunteers for Helpline. We anticipate running another recruitment later this year and/or early 2027.

Please email the Helpline coordinators: Betti  bgabriel@arcvic.connexionpoint.com.au & Meredith mdalton@arcvic.connexionpoint.com.au to be added to the volunteer expression of interest waitlist.

CARES4Me Role:

Thanks for your interest in volunteering with the CARES4Me Program. We are currently recruiting volunteers for our mid-year intake.

To be added to the volunteer expression of interest waitlist, please email the CARES4Me Program Coordinators: Lisa and Kate at cares4meinfo@arcvic.connexionpoint.com.au

Support Group Facilitator Role:

Expressions of interest for our mid-year intake have now closed. Please contact Kelli at  supportgroups@arcvic.connexionpoint.com.au if you would like to be considered for our next intake in February 2027.

NOTE: All potential applicants are required to attend an online volunteer information session.  Upon receipt of your interest, links for these will be shared closer to the date.

Placement Opportunities:

Due to limited capacity, ARCVic will not be bringing on any placement students at this time. Therefore, all advertised roles for upcoming recruits will be purely a voluntary position. We hope in future we will be able to offer placement opportunities here at ARCVic once more.

My experiencing as a support group facilitator has been extremely
rewarding. I can see the benefits the groups provide our participants when they
return each session with things to share, and many say that they are just
grateful to have a safe space to connect with people going through similar
things. Some participants have also expressed that in Victoria they cannot
access support groups similar to those that ARCVic provides (e.g. for body
dysmorphia), so they are grateful that ARCVic allows them to share on these
matters and feel less alone. Nicola
